Andrea Motroni

Andrea Motroni (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and M.E. (summa cum laude) degrees in telecommunications engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2015 and 2017, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in information engineering. In 2020, he was a Visiting Ph.D. Student with the Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria. He has coauthored one European patent application. His current research interest includes indoor radiolocalization systems, with specific focus on UHF-RFID phase-based algorithms for robot tracking and UHF-RFID smart gates, and applications for Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. In 2019, he was the President of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Pisa.
